Etsy discount code

Well we are now over a week into the new year and I have been meaning to give a little new year gift to all my customers. This is a little later than I intended but if you go to my Etsy shop between now and the 25th of January you can enter the code newyear2012 to receive a 15% discount.
I have been busy so far this year sorting out paperwork and getting the new display for York made. More news on that later. The fairs are looming already and I believe it is only 11 weeks to Miniatura, Eeek!!! One of my many new year resolutions is to be more organised, so I am optimistic I will not be in the usual last minute panic before fair dates.

Just popped a few more dolls in my Etsy shop. Will be putting a few more in over the next few days. I really must get some better photo's though. Must try harder as far as that is concerned!! Jain xx

Back from Kensington.

Well it was a hectic couple of days down in London, but had a wonderful show. Great to see friends and catch up and the atmosphere, vibe was fantastic! People were spending despite the economic climate!
I have a few figures left and as I have no more fairs until next spring, I am going to add them to my Etsy shop gradually over the next few weeks or so. Next year is a new start, with lots of ideas to be brought to life. I am still taking commissions, so if anyone is interested in a custom made doll, just let me know.
Can't believe it is now over a year since I started doing dolls full time. I think I have learnt a lot in this year and my style has changed quite considerably, I hope for the better!! Just enjoying having the time to try out new methods.

Kensington Christmas Festival.

This Saturday 3rd December is the Christmas Festival at Kensington. Julie (Bellabelle Dolls) and I are sharing a table as usual. This time we have a different position. We are on the ground floor in the main foyer to the right of the room. We both have some interesting new creations, so please come and visit our table and say Hello! This time last year we had to dig our cars out of snow to get to the railway station, only to find there was only a couple of trains running all day, we still got there!!!

Look what I got at Miniatura!!!

I got the most special miniature at Miniatura! She is a miniature schnoodle, that is a Miniature Schnauzer x Miniature Poodle. She is now 9 weeks old and called Dora. She is a joy, but my other two Schnauzers are not to keen, there is a fair bit of telling off going on, and ignoring!!! They will come round, but these things take time.
As for Miniatura itself, I had a very good one in the end. A bit slow at times, but I now need to get my head down for more dolls for Pudsey and Kensington. It's not a easy task with a tiny puppy on the loose.

Miniatura

Well it is that time of year again. Miniatura is the first of 3 fairs I will be attending. I will be at Leed's fair Pudsey on 12th November and then Kensington Dollshouse Festival on the 3rd December.
I have lots of characters looking for new homes. My stand is L 14.
