I am the worst blogger ever!!! Well Spring shows are now over, hard to believe. Kensington was a fabulous show. Busy all weekend and I was as close to selling out as I ever have been. As most of you know Julie (Campbell) and I share a table at the shows and at this show we were judged by Molly Cromwell to be the best table and we were awarded the KDF cup. We were thrilled to bits, but unfortunately we were not there to hear the lovely speech Molly made. We had pre-booked to see the musical 'Wicked' All this was wonderful, but I had 2 and a half weeks to replace stock in time for Germany. I don't think I saw anywhere but the inside of my shed in that time. Just worked solidly night and day. All the hard work paid off and had a brilliant show in Germany. The show was so well organised, in a lovely venue and it was good to meet some old and new european customers. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We were next to Karon Cunningham and her husband John, who helped us out and made our first show abroad so enjoyable. Having had the taste of showing abroad we are now going to do the show in Appeldorn in October this year. Looking forward to that. I am now working on new ideas for the Autumn shows, including some 24th scale dressed animals and some tiny toys. Off course will have lots of new 12th scale characters as well. This little rabbit toy in her crib is one of the first.
